Introducing the team at Summit Dental Outsourcing
A good team is greater than the sum of its parts and our team is no exception. Our approach to outsourcing is to have our team in one location in order to foster a collaborative environment and to allow for oversight and accountability. We have a wonderful team of experienced dental staff working hard to create a partnership with our practices in order to keep cash flow strong.
We would like to spotlight a different team member each moth and are happy to introduce you to Amber Dattolie, an account manager
How did you get into the Dental industry?
I was always interested in the medical field but a visit with a dentist when I was 14 set me on this path. I liked the atmosphere and the pace, and it sparked a curiosity in me.
Tell us about your role at Summit Dental Outsourcing?
I am an account manager. I take a lead role in handling all the services I provide for my clients. I have support from the claims team for investigating overdue claims but the buck stops with me.
What are some of your favorite parts of the work you do?
I love the detail. For example, when I need to identify where a patient balance is coming from, I love dissecting the account and finding the answers. It is very validating to me when things are correct and the client sees the progress and results.
I also love the relationships I have formed with the in office team. I am always available for them and willing to help them with in office issues whenever I can.
Any specific challenges?
The only one that comes to mind is when I sense the office team is skeptical about the addition of our services. That said, I love when they go from unsure to grateful!
Tell us about yourself when you’re not at work
I have a loving blended family…3 busy boys and a beautiful stepdaughter. I am always looking for interesting ways for us to bond. We love to explore outside either by walking, hiking or our newest activity which is quahoging! I also love to cook and experiment with new foods.
